Squatting incorrectly for years

Me and the squats aren't friends.  It is something I always struggle with because it sets my thighs on fire and make me feel like I can't do anything else after doing a few reps.  What's worse is, only till recently did I realize I wasn't even doing it properly.  I was doing more of a half squat which is what I see lots of people doing.  And well since I've never had a trainer, I just assumed that I was doing it correctly since that's what the majority of folks were doing.  Imagine the burn when I actually did a full one.  Thighs parallel to the floor and you're good!
